A STORY ABOUT STOCKHOLM SYNDROME, TOLD FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A FEMALE VICTIM HELD CAPTIVE INSIDE A WAREHOUSE BUILDING.

Captivity (2018) is an experimental short film produced by BAO BAO FILMS, shot entirely from the victim's subjective point of view. It stars Barry O' Rorke. Written and edited by Michelle Claase, directed by Evangelo Costadimas and co-produced by Dorcas Ho, with cinematography and sound design by Michael Rush.

Following an attempt to escape her captor, a young female tells her story, giving the viewer a glimpse into the life of a victim with Stockholm Syndrome - a survival mechanism that causes hostages to develop feelings of affection for their kidnapper.
